Thanksgiving is behind us and we now look forward to a festive season and the new year that will soon be closing in on us, because as always it’s a wonderful time of the year at Nevins, and we will continue to celebrate through the month of December. Our 60th Anniversary Celebration was a huge success, and I would first like to thank all of our staff that volunteered and the heart and soul, and passion you have for our Nevins participants to assure this was such a wonderful event. I would also like to thank our families board of directors, stakeholders, and sponsors for your continued support for the Nevins mission. Thank you to Pam Glass our Director of Development for taking the lead planning our celebration throughout 2019, and making this such a historical event, and also Natasha Young our Program Director for the attention to detail that was needed to effectively make sure our participants had an outstanding experience.
Nevins would like to welcome Crecia Keller as a member to our Board of Directors. Crecia currently serves as Atrium Healthcare and One Day Surgery Center Assistant Vice President Surgical Services. Crecia is also very active in her community serving in multiple roles, such as Member of Roberta United Church, actively participates with the D.A.R.E.
